MPS-488X and MPS-482HP are the core stations of Meyer Sound’s IntelligentDC technology, which combines all the sonic benefits of self-powered loudspeakers with the installation ease of low-voltage systems by delivering balanced audio and DC power together over composite cables. Its applications include corporate systems, hospitality suites, home theatre, retail, and anywhere high-quality distributed audio is desired.
MPS-488X: For Large-Scale Systems
MPS-488X provides 8 channels of balanced audio and DC power via field-friendly Phoenix connectors. For added flexibility, toggle switches can route audio inputs to one or more channel outputs.
MPS-482HP: When Less Is More
MPS-482HP sends power and audio to two speakers, for IntelligentDC systems with limited loudspeaker requirements. Its silent, fanless operation means it can share the same acoustic space as your loudspeakers, and mounting options let you install in a rack or remotely on a wall, ceiling, or other surface. The 2 channel MPS-482HP pairs perfectly with any of Meyer Sound’s IntelligentDC loudspeakers and can be used in larger installations alongside the MPS-488X.
